Been a while since I’ve updated this site, but I’m still out there riding. I’ve upgraded my photo gallery, which sadly blew up all the images on the articles here. For more pictures, go to http://www.mymountainbike.net/photos/.
Thanks!

Best of 2005 Riding and Photos
A year end wrap up of my favorite photos and events I experienced in 2005.
Overview of my gallery images for various trails on the Front Range. Most of them are in the Denver area.
Living in Denver has its advantages for the Mountain Biker. We have many trails close to home, and even more located just into the foothills. Yet, we have heard a lot of good things about the Colorado Springs area, with some people swearing the riding is better down there than up in our neck of [...]
Laramie Endoro Endurance Race (74.5 Miles)
After only two training rides of only about 40 miles each, see if it was enough to get me through my first ever endurance race!
Buffalo Creek Training Ride #2
Some interesting results from my second (and final) training ride before the big race.
So one of us got this hair-brained scheme that we were going to try to ride the Laramie Enduro this year (67miles) at the end of July. Since we had never done a serious ride over 40 miles, it is a bit of a leap of faith we are taking in assuming that we can survive [...]
Chair Rocks/Colorado Trail Ride
This ride was done with a large group of mountain bikers, many from the Front Range Mountain Biker Yahoo Group. We parked just south of the town of Buffalo Creek on Hwy 126 where it intersects the Colorado Trail. We gathered a group of 14 riders and then headed NE up the CT (back towards [...]
Riding Buffalo Creek (Beginner to Advanced)
I’ve been to the Buffalo Creek region (an area of National Forest generally west and southwest of the small town of Buffalo Creek) several times now and feel I have a pretty good appreciation for the types of rides that can be found out there from beginner to advanced.
One morning I decided to drive out and check this trail system for myself. I’ve heard from a variety of people that the trails were pretty good out there, but I’ve never had the opportunity to get to that part of the world to do this.
